I'm reading in this pregnancy book that i got from the library (that ok honestly i'm not a huge fan of this book, but it was this one or what to expect... the 1986 edition, so i went with this one, published 2006)... that raging hormones don't just describe the teenage years.. they also describe pregnancy. luckily i'm pretty good at stepping back and saying.. well, that's not really ME, that's hormones going on. but to give you an idea about how quickly things change...
two weeks ago i went to the doctor for the first pregnancy test and my hCG (baby Hormones) came back with a score of 8.
yesterday i went back for the second test and they called today and my hCG came back with a score of 4,756. hello! that's more like it.
so it's official. i am actually pregnant. i guess i can start to believe it now. i think it's confirmation from the doctor and then the excitement when i told one of my best friends, katie, last night that are making it sink in. yes, i am actually pregnant.
(btw, i called max after the doc called to let him know and he congratulated me, and i said 'me? YOU did it' definitely congratulations to HIM)
