For the past week we've had our extended family in town and an extremely uncomfortable heat wave settled in over Richmond. Seems that everything was planned perfectly for the heat to correspond to the visit and really limit our ability to do too much together. the visit didn't have too much do to do with my pregnancy except that it did allow me to eat like crazy including every pregnant woman's dream dessert one day: chocolate and vanilla ice cream over a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, under a small piece of german chocolate cake all topped with Reece's magic shell. if that isn't heaven (and an instant sugar coma) i don't know what is. so mainly during the week we played host and hostess and my normal diet and exercise went out the window. i did learn that our living room is good for yoga in the morning if needed (which could be good if my office gets usurped by a baby #2 one day). we also learned that our house echos a lot so we don't think we'll really need a baby monitor. but all in all we survived having a 9 month old in the house quite well.
i mean, she is really darn cute anyway!
and here's a pic of all the Packs of my immediate family. it's like the worst picture ever of us, we're usually much more photogenic. i think it's the heat.
i'm planning a photo round up on tyco's blog and i'll link to it when i get there. enjoy!

I love the fam photo though...it captures a real moment where it looks like people are talking to and enjoying each other! :) and I love seeing your belly grow, though it still looks so small to me! You're a beautiful pregnant lady.
you were great hostess and host for the family...thank you
