What parents-to-be think about

Is it nuts that max and i spent at least ten minutes on our Tyco walk this morning discussing baby sitting for Babe for a weekend in April 09?



Turns out John Friendis going to be in North Carolina for two weekend workshops at the end of April 2009. They are my only realistic shots to get to take any sort of workshops with him any time soon without MAJOR travel and i didn't see him at all in 2008 . (something like 100 hours of study with him is required for the Anusara yoga certification that i'd like to earn one day, i've got like 8 hours so far). so we spent quite a while talking about how to make it work. would we bring Babe with? would she stay at home for a weekend with daddy? would my parents come to the workshop town and mom could take the beginner level and i'd take the advanced level and we'd trade off Babe dutites with dad there to hang with her as needed??? all interesting options. max kept asking if he was home alone with babe... 'what would i do with her?' and i assured him by the time she's 6 months old he'll know what to do.

i'm also guessing that by the end of April 09 i will have been left with Babe for a weekend or two of driving so it'll be about time for me to get in a yoga weekend. especially if it's with John Friend.
