here are the things that i wonder about now that i have a one month old: How much spit up is acceptable on an outfit before it need to be changed? (that goes for her and for me) is it possible that she really is supposed to sleep this much? people keep saying it's not going to last... but so far... when she's asleep in the carseat but not in the car and starts to cry but not wake up, do i get her up right away or wait and see if she settles and falls back asleep? are those smiles really intentional or is it gas? why do we think it's important that kids learn animal sounds really early in life, aren't there more important things to learn? why isn't there a counting song like there is an ABC song?... i know i have more than this but unfortunately i haven't gotten my mind back yet, so i don't remember my other thoughts. one day i hope it will return.

My favorite counting song was the one from Seasame Street... there was a pinball machine, and the ball would travel around and they would count up to 10 (at least) and then they would go to 12 sometimes. The 11 and 12 part was the BEST! Remember??
also "Three is the Magic Number" is a good numbers song.
OMG i LOVE that song from sesame street. max pulled it up on youtube and we realized the creators must have seriously been on drugs! and i didn't know the 3 is the magic number one but max had it. yay!
