It is 7:15 on a sunday when she barely napped at all and she is now in bed asleep. she certainly won't stay that way all night (sigh) but i should have a few hours of peaceful quiet before she wakes up and before i go to sleep. i already practiced yoga today, i already checked email and facebook. i'm blogging now but i know it won't take very long because i don't feel like writing anything long winded... and so i am struck with this moment of wonder... what on earth do i do with this time? it feels to short and fleeting to get into any real projects, but too long to waste bumming on the internet or watching boring TV.
so who knows.. it'll either be work on my birth book, work on some sort of quilting project, or take a long hot shower and read a book. it might also be watch a movie with max. it is good to have husband wife time together too. not mom and dad time. i'm also feeling pretty tired since if she didn't nap, i didn't nap... so it might be go to bed early time. like last night, 9pm was lights out. it is a nice feeling to have some time like this.
oh, and for those who were interested.. two weeks ago when she was asleep before baby/mama yoga she ended up only sleeping about 15 minutes and waking up 10 minutes before class started. so max packed her into the car and i grabbed my stuff and we rushed over. we were maybe a few minutes late but two others came in after us so it didn't matter one bit. this week we were much more prompt... but the teacher wasn't there. ARG!
and with that i'm off the blog and into enjoying my downtime in real life!

I don't recommend reading a book in the shower. The pages get soggy and hard to turn.
