me: how did it go?
T: it was fine, she pee peed in the potty.
me: WHAT?
T: Yeah, she told me she had to go, she said she had an elmo seat and she showed me where it was and then she pee peed in the potty
Sabine: like mommy does
me: WHAT? she's never done that before!
T: well, there you go, she's potty trained!
Totally amazing this child! we went to babies r us this weekend and bought an elmo potty seat with the idea that we'd get her used to thinking about potty training. we've been talking about using the potty and she's been checking out the seat. but we haven't tried it out or pushed the idea.... apparently we weren't moving fast enough for her. at this rate she'll graduate college in a month and our parenting duties will be all done!
