Here's Sabine on Christmas Eve ready to head out to my cousin's house then my aunt's house for dinner. She was wearing a dress that my mom made for me when I was a little older than she is now. Mom let the hem out for liz so she could wear it two years in a row. Sabine may get to do the same as she's a string bean like lizzie at that age.

On Christmas Eve night, after dinner but while we were still out, Sabine made her way upstairs to my cousin's bed. She spent time playing with different people in the family and petting their cat. But finally around 9pm she crawled under the covers and directed uncle Jacob to turn off the light so she could go to sleep and wait for Baby Jesus. She was pretty adamant that the lights be off and that no one come in the room. Quite the change from most nights as we battle towards bedtime.
