Currently: Eating Cereal with Blueberries
At the shower in the country one of the events was that everyone there offered Words of Wisdom on index cards for me to read and remember. it was made pretty funny by one of my cousins saying she's only 15 and doesn't know yet and another cousin who totally could not think of anything. but i think everyone gave some great advice....
Remember never to run out of Diapers - Aunt Vege
Enjoy ! Cousin Kristen (the 15 year old)
Take long naps now and when the baby sleeps, you sleep. Don't worry if everything is not like you would have them, just give her all the love and kisses you can give - Great Aunt Sarah (who shares my birthday)
Write the milestones down; Read read read to your baby; Enjoy your quiet times with Babe - Aunt Jane
Don't worry if your plans change. Plan Bs are a good thing! ; Enjoy even the middle of the night feedings. The first year will go by fast! - Cousin Mary Beth
Sleep when Baby sleeps. Put her on a schedule - Aunt Bobbie
Rock and sing to her every night; Take a deep breath when you feel angry before you speak; Read to her often; let her be herself. - Mom
Hold, Love, and Rock the baby every chance you get. - Aunt Allene
Love her, Cherish her tender moments with you... they grow up so fast - Cousin Karen
Be consistent with discipline.. Tough Love! - Cousin Brynn (she's a teacher and a coach)
Be patient; Be loving; Be gentle; Be kind - Grammie
Sleep/nap when baby naps; let dad help bathe/feed/change diapers; always play and be happy; ignore temper tantrums and be firm; always say "i love you" - Cousin Wanda
Be patient and enjoy each moment; Have fun! Get Messy! - my sister Lizzie
It all sounds like wonderful advice and it makes me think how fleeting this first year of milestones will be. pretty amazing! anything else to add??

Work as a team, communicate. Figure out a routine early as this will help to keep both you and Max from getting too run down over the first couple of weeks.
